Default New Cobra slipons?

Has anyone tried these, or knows how much they are? How about the sound? Thanks

Tri-Oval Slip-on Mufflers
These Tri-Oval mufflers enhance the sound and boost performance to out deliver the stock motorcycle's exhaust system. The styling is unique in a world of aftermarket mufflers that all look the same. (Shown in profile with Cobra's PowerPort Dual head pipes.)
Available in March.

Will not fit 2010 Road Glide or Street Glide

Available in March. These slip-on mufflers produce an awesome, thundering bass rumble, yet they are quiet enough to pass the cranky neighbor Sunday morning sound test.
But they do far more than just sound great. With their Tri-Oval design, with full-size, aluminum V-tips with dual exhaust ports these mufflers look like nothing else on the market. The round front seamlessly morphs to tri-oval shape at the rear. But it's the V-tip that gets the most attention.
These mufflers also deliver increased performance gains over the stock mufflers, with a bump up especially in the low and mid-range. They are available in chrome as well as with a black body and chromed tip.
The installation is simple, as the mufflers mount to stock head pipes or to Cobra's new Power Port head pipes as well as Cobra's True Dual head pipes for pre-2009 Baggers.
Available in March.

I've not had Cobras on a Harley, but I've had them on metric bikes, and I think you can do better. Cobras were pretty "tinny" sounding. I have Rush slashdown slip-ons with a 2.5 inch baffle, on my EG Classic, and I like 'em. With baffles, seems like they were well under $500.

I have not heard from anyone so I am assuming there aren't a lot of folks with these on. I found out they sell for around $600 or so.

Geezr I also had the Rush (2.0 baffles) on my EG (totaled that bike) and I did not really care for the sound. It always sounded to me like there was a piece of metal rattling in the insides..

I will keep looking around to see if I see anyone with these Cobra pipes.

Thanks

The sound & the "loud" is really a personal preference. I've also heard guys on here who didn't like Rush. Heard some who liked Vance & Hines Monster Ovals, but I didn't like 'em at all. Guess you gotta go to a dealer on a nice Saturday morning & listen to other bikes. By the way, I never heard any "rattling" on my Rush pipes or baffles. Maybe you got a "bad" baffle? I don't know.

I have not heard these pipes but I have used Cobra parts on several bikes and can honestly say everything they produce is very high quality especially the chrome!!

I had Cobra Speedster Slashdowns on my '05 Vulcan 2000, and they were, hands down, the best sounding pipes I've ever had on any bike. Repeat: EVER.

VERY throaty, very low rumble, and barked really well when I twisted the throttle.

NOT "early-morning/late-at-night-meandering-through-the-neighborhood-friendly" though. They were loud ALL THE TIME. Even at idle.

Personally I loved 'em.

Also had some slash-cuts on my '97 Vulcan 1500 Classic that sounded great, and the fit/finish was second to none. Cobra's quality is top shelf if you ask me.

I'm interested in hearing these too. I like the looks in pictures, would love to see them in person. I had Cobra Streetrod Slashdowns on my Suzuki C50, and the sound was awesome. And Terry, that IS a good discount!
