Default Aux Light Trim Rings

OK...Is it me, or has anyone else here had a hell of a time trying to get the Visor aux light trim rings on. After I finally get the damn light into that rubber gasket, the ring just doesn't seem to fit right.
Any tricks?

I did mine last year. They are the eyebrow ones. The side light went on easier then the head lights. You have to just keep massaging the ring inbetween each couple of tighting of the screw. It will go.

On my 2001 I had a problem were they would not tighten up enough and seemed loose, so I just applied some electrical tape around the edge of the housing, that seemed to resolve the issue.

Try putting them on without the o-rings. Snaps in place and tighten the screws. Simple..took a couple of minutes each.
