A few months ago I purchased a leather Mustang rider seat along with riders backrest and passenger pillion from a member in the classifieds section. Well in my haste I bought one for an FLHT/FLTR when my bike is an 01 FLHR. I love the seat and with a bit of tweaking made it work but it exposes too much of the frame.
I contacted the Captain about my dilemma and he offered to send me a Crotch Cooler which will take care of my issue plus add some more detail to my bike as well as provide some heat relief. To be more clear he offered to send it to me to try without asking for funds up front!!! I can't think of another company, large or small that would be so trusting.
This got me to looking at his products and will hopefully before long be buying his leather chrome studded crash bar covers as well. Just have to get mine back from a friend I sort of sold it to for a song that I am sure will let me buy it back as he is a Indy that thought another person would want but never did. I had installed a Mustache bar but after installing a Heavy Breather it kind of killed the perks of having the Mustache, at least for the right side. Even still it was never very comfortable or practical.
In closing if you are looking for some sweet looking goodies to add to your scoot for very reasonable prices give the Captain a try at http://www.capt-itch.com/
Larry and Isabel are super nice people but then they live in Tennessee so you would expect that!!!!! Right? Right?????? BTW, here is the email response you get from them if they are not at the PC.
Thank you for your email. We're out working in the shed skinning a possum, but we will get right on back to ya.
Wife and I had the pleasure of visiting with Larry and Isabel this past weekend at Boswell HD in Nashville. Those two are amazing with what they do with Leather.
The products they offer are second to none, But the real experience is meeting them. You will never forget that!
