fairing shakes

Been noticing the few times riding my 2007 ultra that at idle the fairing shake quite bad! More than normal and it seems like it first started right after my 10000 mile check up? Any ideas or answers would be much appreciated. Thanks

Probably broken mount brackets..

Check the fairing brackets on the inside. Good chance one of them has broken. If you do a search, you can find several threads dedicated to the issue including some DIY fixes.

Mine started doing that at 31,000 miles and it was the main fairing brackets, both were broken at the top. I repaired them with much heavier angle brackets from Ace hardware.

At 30k miles I had broken three of four brackets on my 07 Ultra. Actually had them replaced under warranty (< 2 years). Very common problem on the 07 and older bikes.

Harley had a problem with fairing brackets breaking, they have since re-engineered them. Like the others said, yours are more than likely broken. Not to hard to fix yourself, but the brackets IMO are a little on the pricey side, about 50 bucks each for the mains and about 20 each for the other 2.
