Default Bag locks

I just came home from a ride today and discovered that the locking mechanism for my bag on my 2009 Road King is missing. I'm talking about the tongue that dose the locking and the nut that holds it on. Does anyone know if these two parts can be purchased from the MOCO or will I have to buy the whole lock? Thanks for any info you can give me.

Dont know if you can buy individual parts for the lock or not. My lock fell completely out and cant find it.

Just ordered one today from Harley 54.95 and the come as a set.

You need to tighten the nut on the back of the locking mechanism (I think it is a 7/16). The lock will work more smoothly as a side benefit. I had one replaced under warranty shortly after buying my current bike, it came apart when I opened the saddlebag (I found almost all the parts, couldn't find two of the tumblers). I got a bonus key out of it, and now check that nut regularly (in both bags)...

And to give the expected answer, the MoCo will sell you the whole kit (even some stuff that has part numbers can't be ordered separately from the kit they are in).

I put some locktite on my nuts. I don't worry about losing them now.

I had to place some blue Loctite in the nuts after I found the parts on the ground where I park my bike at work. This was on my old RG.
Good idea to check all the saddle bag hinge screws also.

Same thing happened to me. There is also a spring in behind the nut, but harley does not have a part number for it. The guy down at the dealership grabbed one out of a new set of locks and let me have it for free. Am going to put loc -tite on it. Also checked the other side and it was about ready to come apart. I could turn the nut with my finger.
