I read this thread yesterday morning. I went for a short ride yesterday evening and when I stopped to put my helmet in my bag and lock it, you guessed it, the lock just turned. Look like I've lost a nut, too! D'OH!!!

One of my locks was acting funny so I checked it and the nut was loose.
When I tighten the nut more than finger tight I cannot close the saddlebag.
Am I doing something wrong?

Sometimes the locking tab will not clear the latch assy.Make sure it is not hitting.
You may have to loosen the nut and reposition the tab.
