Just be aware, that The CB SSC's are sized differently. A 12" is equal to a stock 9" so a 15" is equal to a 12". I also have a 12" and I love it. I look over it by about 1.5-2". If dawg went to a 15" he must be using a booster seat.

I went to a 15" because I cracked my 12" shield and needed a new one and according to Cee Bailey's you want the top of the shield level with your mouth so I thought I'd give it a shot because the 12" was way lower than my mouth.
This is from Cee Bailey:
The windshields are available in sizes from 9 to 15. In order to achieve an equivalent OEM HD type shield height, you have to add 3 to the SSC windshield height, i.e., if you use a 9 HD type shield, get a 12 SSC shield. For optimum performance the crown or top of the shield needs to be level with your mouth. It can be slightly above or below, if too high the crown of the shield is now in your line of sight or if too low you will get too much air turbulence. For example you had a standard 11 shield and the top of the shield was level with your mouth in a straight line then you would need a 14 to keep it the same height.
