Default Sizing taller bars....

Am not liking the stock FLHX bars...makes me feel like I'm leaning forward and down too much.
Decided what bars to get (Baggernation's Monkeybars), but not sure which to get, the 10" or 12"

Not going to ask which to get, as no one can really decide or know what's best for any other person, so just gonna ask this instead:

Without the hassle of putting them the bike, what's the best way to judge where my hands will be at with each size?
Can I just take the measurements between stock (if I can find it) and then the measurements for potential new bars....then just take a tape measure and go up and out the difference?

Edit: I guess what concerns me with trusting the tape-measure idea is that the Monkey Bars list only a 9" pullback, so measuring up, out and forward seems to put my hand right at the edge of the fairing, which can't be right.

What I think I'd like is to have my hands right at the top edge of the fairing, though just above it wouldn't be too high for me I think.
I'm also wondering if the wider bars with less pullback would just mean that I could get the taller bars & pull them back myself farther than the 90-degree straight up and down....

First time dealing with measuring bars. Previous bikes were all just stock or simple thing of grabbing the Street Slammers for my NT and not needing to measure anything.

Well, Wild1inc's website has the most pictures from either straight on or side, so looking at their bars for size comparison.
They're 10" bars seem a bit lower than I'd like, but the 12 1/2" are definitely too tall.

Got some time to mull it all over and double-check measurements, but since Baggernation says it does Monkeybars from 10 to 14" upon request, just might go with 11"

Of course...I do a forum search and find nothing, but then after I started this thread I did an image search for the Monkeybars and find like 3 threads on here that are same subject I"m basically asking.

"search fail"
