Some of you may have seen my recent post regarding how mind boggling it is for a carb guy to consider a tuner for his new EFI bike and how to make it all work. I mentioned also that all the abbreviations used in various discussions only add to the challenge of understanding.
When I purchased my first F150 Truck, I seeked out an F150 Forum, much like this great HD site. And likewise, there was a wealth of information to be had.
However, one major difference, that I regard as invaluable, was that the F150 forum had a "sticky" titled "ABBREVIATIONS"...upon opening the sticky, you found in alphabetical order, a complied list of all abreviations commonly used within the F150 Forum.
Again, for a newbie, or even someone who hasn't hung out for a decade, this "sticky" was priceless! It was easily and quickly accessed while reading thru the sometimes complex explanations and discussions on various threads.
Sure beat the heck out of googling every 10 seconds.
So, assuming I'm not overlooking such a "sticky" here on the HD forum, what do you say?
