Default inspection sticker

If you got rid of your big ugly stock streetglide inspection sticker plate, where did you mount the new one on your bike? Pictures if you have them would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

I cut a slot in the mounting plate and slide in under the bottom mount of the engine guard on the left side of the bike.

You can modify that ugly stock one w/some tin snips & drill to fit on the left saddlebag brace @ bottom of bag mount to the fender. Bolt is in about center of bracket. Then when it's time for a new one get a new inspection tag before getting sticker & mount vertical on same bolt. They have or can get you one for a very reasonable $ @ Backroads Cycles on Hwy 3 across from Ellington Field. Tell Bruce Fuzzy sent you & He'll know which plate you need. BTW, it can still be seen from the rear of bike & some local Police have been told to look & ticket if not. Good luck.

I put mine on my frame. Not sure that is legal, but have had it there for 10K miles.

I just had my bike inspected in TX. Inspector said I had to have the plate with the inspection sticker on the rear next to the license plate. Went home and looked up the TX motor vehicle code, and he was right.

That's right in Texas, it has to be visible from the rear. I’ve seen them (and had them)every where, it all depends on if the cop wants to hassle you over something. I don’t need the trouble, so I just put it where it belongs on this bike.

I bought a black one so it wouldn't stand out so much, but I am going to paint it to match for my next sticker though.
