Nice job and great mods, however, ya sure that's all, lots of winter left for maybe a few more.
Well like I said, I want to get some black going on the left side of the motor and I'm already looking for a derby cover and horn.

I'm trying to give my bike just the right amount of black. I don't want that stealth look. If you look at this pic the chrome/polished parts kind of flow from the forks to the tank console down to the bag guards and to the primary. It just needs a little more black and I think the horn and derby cover will do the trick. I would love to have that smoked/see through derby cover from Sickshooter, but it's been on backorder since it was pointed out to me by another forum member which was about a month or so. Also, it would be nice if I could find a black contrast cut tank console insert and maybe a fuel door. It never ends I guess!

I agree, I think that would do it. Great job, and great looking bike BTW. Not bad for your first harley, it's just a big lawnmower engine anyway....LOL.
I think, the horn and derby would "fit the bill", again looks great.
BTW, can you send me some "money tree seeds" off the one ya got in your back yard??????

Oh yea don't get me wrong it looks awesome just like it is! As fas as the dash and fuel door, you might want to look at these.
Nice looking "winter" mods! Although I'd say, by the time winter is acually over, you'll realize these were just "fall" mods!
One thing with your flat paint and silver engine, anytime you can go GLOSS black, it would stand out like chrome does against gloss paint jobs. For example: case covers (primary, trans, rocker box, cam), front end, etc. Seems like the direction you're headed though.
I'm just not a fan of flat or wrinkle finishes on accenting parts - dulls the bike down.
Your's looks good!!!!
