Thanks for the info guys, i bought one and will let you know what i think. the glide pro system is nice, but 400+ bones is a little too much this close to Christmas
Was just wondering about that since there were so many changes made. I've got the 2010 and haven't noticed any sort of wobble.
The frame brace only applies to the 2008 and older models. 2009 and newer do not need them because of the frame and suspension changes that were made in 2009.

I have an 08 and I have never noticed any wobble.
But to be on the safe side I did install a Progressive unit on mine.
Any difference? - No.
But it's on there.
So what do these things do? I have an '08 Ultra and it seems pretty stable to me. What should I be looking for?
Mainly, a "wobble." It is most pronounced when taking a fairly tight corner, the back end will seem like it wants to skip out sometimes. Also on lane changes done quickly the back of the bike will seem to want to walk or wobble around. These braces help stop a lot of this. If you do any touring or high speed cornering at all, you need one. A heavily loaded down bike with the back end wobbling or walking around is not a good thing.
What year and model of bike to you have, 2009 and after does not need it.
John,
i have an 08 Ultra. i have progressive S on the rear, have upgraded the front shock springs to the progressives and i have the heavy oil so it handles well, but there is a little wobble every now and then when i go into a corner a little too hot...

I was the same as you, did not really notice a wobble except on bridge grating, road snakes, and freshly grooved road during road construction. Because I live in the Seattle area, and the roads are terrible and there is a whole bunch of bridges, I decided to invest in the Bagger Brace. I believe the Bagger Brace helps, but not nearly as much as a I had hoped for. I think I might have another issue that needs to be addressed. This winter I will check the head bearings, the alignment from front to back wheel if this does not fix it, then maybe I will change the tires because I hear that the stock tires are whack. Based on my readings on this forum, any of these things can cause the wobble to include shock pressure and tire pressure. However these two things I know are good because I check them early and often.
