Default Problem Solved

It turns out that the rear brake light switch had failed. Apparently when it went bad, it must have shorted and caused the continuous static in the radio for a short time. Later, as I used the front brake, I suspect power was feeding back to the rear brake light switch from the brake lights and causing static in the radio.

The dealer replaced the switch, bled the brakes, and everything is good.

I have never been to this dealer for any service and left less than 100% satisfied.

Good to hear about a good dealer.

We were in Maryville at the end of August. We got in late and it was raining so we didn't go there.
