Back in the seventies use to do my Sporty all the time 5,10 minute job tops..Now fast forward 35 years have done a few builds and stayed with solid rods when possible ..one less worry.

$20. doesn't take too long and almost no work in it. That's a bad practice for dealers to put jobs in order by money made, should be by first come. Learn to do everything yourself and forget the hassle of the dealer. Plus some may say you need **** you don't need or they had to do so and so too. I like when I go buy parts and they act like I don't know ****. 2cents

$20 is a little low, and 5 to 10 minutes is to quick. I've had to wait up to 20 minutes for it to bleed down before I could do the other cylinder. i would say 1 hour labor is fair for shop rate.

I would charge $20, shops charge an hour minimum for everything. You make the adjustments walk away do something else, let it bleed. Total hands on about 20-30 min not counting bleed time. I can't see paying dealers the extremely high rates they charge. But I know the overhead kills them. I have nothing overhead but a roof, so I can work cheap.
