Have you checked your spark plugs to see if it's running too lean? If you've been running it stock until the cam upgrade, You might want to get the stage1 jet kit for your carb.

agreed. on my evos, i always checked the plugs before and after any types of changes. they will really show you how the bike is doing. main jets are cheap for the cv carbs.

I always got mine form the Dealer. They were very reasonable on the price and usually knew what I needed. It's been awhile since I had a Carbed Bike. That was the good ol days. You could check online with somebody like Dennis kirk. Maybe sombody will chime in and help. Good Luck!!

Check out: http://www.factorypro.com/prod_pages/indexmake.html
I have used their recalibration kits and they work well.

When I had carb bikes I always used dynojet kits. Its is also easy enough to do yourself

I am in the precess of doing a cam tensioner upgrade, new "Y" pipe for the exhaust, and then while I am in it, new SE cams. Checked on a Stage 1 carb kit (I have an 04 EGC with carb) and found that the stealer wanted $138 bucks for the kit. Looked around and found that Harley-Performance.com had the exact same kit for $47 delivered, free S & H. Can't wait for the rest of my stuff to come in so I can put it together and see what I got!!!!!
