I am currently running a Metzeler 160 x 18 rear tire on my 08 road king.
Does anyone know if I can run a 180 on the rear with the stock swing arm without getting into the belt or causing other problems with the bike?
I am currently running Metzeler tires and getting 4 - 5000 miles out of my rear tire. I am trying to find a tire that I can get decent mileage out of but Dunlop only makes 18 inch tires in a 180 and up. (that i can find)
The fast way to get confirmation is call your local dealer… At the present time, I say it will work. My recommendation will tell you not to do it. More money that will pay off if you’re racing for money so you can grip&go better.
