Just funnin' with you, too. I'm in a good mood since it's Friday.
Yes, $13 for beer, $187 to have the dealer put the oil in. When it comes to my bike I take it to the dealer to chang my mind. Seriously.

I prefer the Heritage over the King touring. If the bags on the Heritage bother you call these guys the will cure the problem for sure http://bossbags.com/ and they do great work. I love the way they did my bags.

2000 to current date Heritages is the softail that gives riders what the King doesnt with the B motor. Both Heritage and King are great rides its just different flavors for different people. The guys that have not toured on the Heritage just dont understand and most likely never will. When I tour its mostly 2 up with 125 pounds of my girls crap on the back and sides combined. The average day is 400 to 500 miles per day. I enjoy my 2006 Heritage just as much as by buds with Kings and Ultras enjoy theirs. You ride on a King you ride in a Heritage. You feel like your part of the bike when on a Heritage. My personal belief is a Heritage is easier to ride than a King far has handling. Just my opinion.

Replace your 12" rear shocks with stock 13" shocks and you will never look back... You can even replace the shock oil with a little heavier oil (there are tons of threads in this forum about this).

That's what I did on my '09 SG and the ride is amazing.

I always thought the Heritage came from the factory with a great seat while it is always a crap shoot with what HD will place on their Road Kings. But I agree with the comments about shocks. I've ridden both RK Customs and RK Classics and, IMO, there is a noticeable difference in stock setups.

You ride on a touring harley. You ride in a softail harley. The softail is definitely more of a riders bike but over 70 mph the touring shines. If the softail vibration didn't start until 75 mph I wouldn't even consider the touring hd's as the their touring bikes.

You have to be kidding me! I just traded in my 02 Fatboy. Same suspension as the Heritage. The bike was absolutely terrible 2 up. I'm 6'3" 250. GF is 5'10" 150. Solo it was slightly better.
My 2011 RK Classic is one of the best riding bikes I've been on. It handles well and it sucks up the bumps, even 2 up. Solo, it's a blast to ride. BTW I've been riding bikes for 38 yrs.

I agree. Have had both and would never go back to a Heritage. Great bike but handles awful compared to a touring frame.

Wow I musta bought the wrong bike. Me(200lbs) the wife (Uhhh) and probably 70lbs of stuff in the luggage. Pumped the shocks up to adjust (didnt know you could do that on a soft tail) And 3000 miles later had a great trip. Gee I know I ride on the bike instead of in it but for the life of me I thought thats what you were supposed to do. Where the he** are you guys riding? In the gas tank? The ugly *** bags ? OK just kiddin about the bags but different strokes ok?
