Default Fairings

Price being no object (yeah right) Is it at all possible to mount a stock HD fairing from a Street Glide,or Ultra on a RKC? Still looking at aftermarket but it kills me HD doesnt offer an option.I like the looks of several aftermarkets from the front of the bike but from the drivers side they arent near as nice as stock.

Do a search here on the forum. It has been done before and one of the threads even had a complete parts list including part numbers.

The MOD is possible but the poroblem will be with how you intend to mount it. If I am following you correctly, there is a faring / radio kit that can be found in the aftermarket that should have all that you need (wiring harness, antenna, CD player). All you will have to do is get it painted. Additionally, it is detachable so you can go back to the original RK look with just a few steps.
Hope this helps, Dwayne

I wish the other detachable fairing manufacturers would mount the speakers from the inside, like Dragonfly does. It makes the fairing look less aftermarket. Paint the inner fairing to match the paint, and they look pretty good. It's still not as nice looking as the factory fairings with the gauges, but at least it doesn't scream aftermarket.
