Mr Nellis, that is one fine RKC... truly classic. I will investigate the Mustang solo.
What rack is that? Looks great.
Thanks, bro. Been working on trying to make it look more and more classic. That's the HD rack. I think it's this one: 54213-09 for about $175 (also needs the docking hardware).
I just ordered the nostalgic RK saddle bag rails, too. I'll update the pic when I get 'em installed.
I have a Mustang seat, but I was solo to begin with (Police Bike). The passenger on mine is removable. The Mustang seat is comfortable, though I am sure most others are too.
You will change a lot. I said I would not do much, but in only 4 months have done more then I care to admit.
OK... after a good bit of research and some test rides, I brought home a new (to me) ride today. It's a '10 FLHR with cruise, security, ABS and chrome laced wheels - basically all of the factory options you could add on this one last year. Color scheme is Scarlet Red & Vivid Black. It has 11k on the odometer.
It replaces my Kawi Vulcan, which was also red & black.
After riding it for most of the day, all I can say is WOW!
I'd like to get a solo seat. What solo seats have other King owners installed?
Nice looking bike!
Are those what are referred to as the Chrome 28 spoke wheels?
I have the same bike (but the Blue 2-tone paint) with same options on the way from the factory being delivered in 3 weeks!!!

Thanks!
No, the 28 spoke wheels are what comes standard on the FLHR. These are the lone wheel option from the factory - chrome aluminum profile laced wheels. They are traditional spoked wheels that use tubed tires.

Yeah, that is what I got too...they look so much better. I got a great deal on mine since it was one of the last of the new 10's remaining. That red and black sure looks sharp though!!!
