Which Windshield and WHY ?
I can not believe how many windshields there are ? I am 5'10" and the stock shield on my Ultra has me looking thru the glass ? I want to see over it but now there are so many "Wave" "X- Stream" "Curved" and all the different tints ?? HELP!! If you can tell me which one is the best (Price does not matter) and why ? There are National --LRC--- Klocks-- Clearview and all the no names brands ? I can not buy them all and it is the only way you can tell which one is the best?

I'll recommend "Fastaire" windscreens. You can buy 3-4 of their screens for the price of 1 of most the others. The quality is excellent, the "cut" is "traditional Glide", and you can get them in clear, light and dark smoke. You could buy one in 8/9/10 inches and see which one works best for you. I recommend the 8". It's the shortest I can go on my Street Glide and still feel comfortable in a half helmet and sunshades. The 10" will eliminate all of my wind buffeting. I'm 6'1". The Harley "windsplitter" windshield was pretty effective if you like the "shaped" windscreens. I rode one on a CVO Street Glide a couple weeks back. It's a 7" screen. It worked about like my 8" Fastaire screen.

I've tried so many windshields that I don't even want to admit how many. Go with the Clearview recurve 9.5 inch with a tint of your choice. I always come right back to this shield. It is durable, has great airflow, its quiets the wind more than any other shield, and reduces buffeting the most.

Have a Long Ride Shield 9 inch Ultra on my 08 Ultra, works Great. I'm 5'11. Have a sale on right now, worth checking them out. Can now see over and have a nice pocket to ride in ( can even have a smoke if I want to )

I've gone from the stock screen to National Cycle 7.25" V-Stream to putting a wave in the stock screen to National Cycle 5.25" Wave. I like the Wave the best. Looked at the KlockWerks but it seems too thin to me.
