I ended up securing mine a different way.
And what way would that be?

To me, having to dismantle your bike everytime you stop is the definition of "inconvenient". Two people does not a trend make.
As I said, YMMV so do want feels good to you man. I never said trend, and only answered the question in one of the other posts seeking personal experiences or knowledge on theft. Besides, it takes me 20 seconds to lock my bags and pop the windshield off. I choose to not bank on luck when I can skew a potential situation my way.

Anyway, glad you've been unaffected thus far and hope your run of luck continues. Can I surmise that you neither lock your bike or arm your security system (if so equipped)? Using your logic, ignition and fork locks and security systems are just tools of the MOCO to separate people from their money too...right?

Trident nuts. You can use them on the studs attaching the brackets to the fork, securing solo seats, and many places that use nuts.

I have a ton of these, because I bought a box, lol.

Edit. I had a brain cramp and I forgot to mention that you do need the special tool for the nuts. Thanks for keeping me straight, boneziff, lol.

Thanks. Iam guessing then you will also need a trident nut tool.
