Great write-up. Will come in handy when I replace my inner fairing with the painted one (just haven't decided if I want to go black or the matching silver)

Good looking out. Even having a shop manual with its drawings its better to see it done with photos.

Subscribed, thanks for the info and step by step process and pics. Good winter project. My inner is turning shades of white in several spots (from water/rain?)

Didn't plan on painting the inner, but who knows.....

That's why I love the idea of the Black Denim tourers - the inner fairing is already color matched
