Default gauntlet style gloves

I have been riding with a pair of deerskin guantlet style gloves I picked up in Sturgis back in 07. While they were inexpensive at about $20, I have found them to be very comfortable especially as they age. Unfortunately, on a recent trip to West Virginia, I left them at a gas station during a fuel stop. I realized this a few miles down the road and when i returned to the station of course they were gone. My question is, what are you guys using as an all purpose unlined riding glove? Since I'm in the market again, I figured I'd pick your brains! I definitely want to stay with a gauntlet style for wind up the sleeve protection.

I've been very impressed with Fox Creek leather gloves (and jackets too). I've got the elkskin gauntlet gloves they make and like them alot. Elkskin is soft and yet very tough. When it gets wet it doesnt dry all stiff like other leathers do which is another plus for elkskin.

I got a pair of unlined gauntlets from Jamin Leather in Myrtle Beach for about 20 bucks. I've been wearing 'em for 3 years or so with no complaints.

I always wear gauntlets. Deer skin and elk skin are very comfortable and stronger than cow skin of the same weight. Fox Creek has a decent selection at reasonable prices.

Lee Perks Designs or Riderwarehouse. Get em smaller than you think. They'll conform to your hands after a few hundred miles.
