What are you using to wash with? I used to use just dish soap till I switched to the Tech Wax and then I switched to regular turtle wax car soap. Some of the other soaps are really hard on the wax and will wash them right off. The father in law builds hot rods and loves the Tech Wax for his darker colors. He just suggested using a different soap after I told him about the wash off. Try it, might help a little.
I have always used good quality wash soaps. Never used dish detergent. When I tried the Tech Wax, which was about 4 years ago, I was using the Meguiars Deep Crystal car wash.
Black box by turtle wax. Has black dye in the conditioner and black dye in the canuba wax ,2 step application proccess.(doesnt actually stain other surfaces).about 15-20 bucks.wow looks better then when I road it off dealers lot!
I forgot to include Black Box in my pic. I have some of that too. I still think the NXT is better and doesn't make a mess like the black stuff does.
I've read posts from members recommending this wax and that wax and, honestly, I've tried just about all of them. However, in my opinion, for ease of application, removal, and shine the Meguiar's NXT Tech Wax 2.0 is the clear winner. I'm not saying the others didn't work as advertised, I'm just saying the Meguiar's equalled or surpassed the others with a lot less work. The price ($16.95) is fair compared to the others. If you want your Vivid Black to be "vivid" you might want to consider this.
Great product! I use it often. No swirl marks no BS just great shine.
