I don't have a radio on my bike, but when turning my HID light on I can hear it humming as it warms up. The light works by converting battery 14 volt dc to 84 volt ac. My auto has HID lights and no radio problems. Harley makes an HID kit, so is there a radio suppressor or other accessory that will protect your radio? You're not the first to fit an HID light, so hopefully somebody has already solved the problem and will call by soon!

It is a true HID kit with a ballast and not from Harley, I believe that theirs is only a blueish bulb. I like the look, but I get alot of static from the FM radio stations, not with CD or XM radio. I even tried to ground back to the battery and see if that helped but nope. I may have to buy a ground isolator for the radio?? I don't really know, but open to any good suggestions.....
