Yeah got it taken care of. Since I was having the cams pressed out again I just took it as a sign because I was going back and forth between the upgrade cam plate and pump so I took the dive. Here's a pic of the new camplate with cams in. I just got done installing the new torrington inner cam bearings in. Thx

Sounds like you got it squared away. It's amazing how different the Screaming plate looks compared to the old one.

And the added benefit of the oil pump with it...

did you think of going to the se cam plate it has hyd tennsioners. they dont have as much pressure on them as the spring tennsioners do. the hyd ones will last longer and it also helps reduce premature inner bearing failure.
i have done many cam tenn jobs @ diff milage ( from 1200 to 60000 mi ) you just never know when they will fail do yourself a big favor and change the cam plate and go with th se kit . with this kit you dont need special tool to unload or load the springs

i see you already invested in the new plate my bad new to this site i must have missed some posts good move by the way

Yeah Ive heard alot of good things about the upgrade kit only a few bad comments. Something about the andoizing causing issues and the too much oil pressure. But I think its going to be a good upgrade!
