Question handle bar question

i have an 08 road king and am wanting to put reduced reach handlebars on it. my question is will i have to replace brake lines and clutch cable, or switch wires? maybe someone who has done this can give me advise. thanks in advance.

It totally depends on what bars you choose (there're loads of choices out there), but sometimes you can get away with just an extended clutch cable.

To do it totally right and by the book, though, you'd probably need everything you mentioned.

But someone else should chime in here, I know a lot more about the Glides than the Kings...

I put HD reduced reach bars on my new 2011 King and stock cables worked fine. Still didnt get the comfort i was looking for so i switched to Heritage bars and i love them stock cables worked with them also.
