Default Power Commander V REALLY worthwhile?

I am considering changing out the pipes, air filter and adding a PCV to my 2010 Crimson Mist CVO Ultra.

I have added Rinehart slip-ons and LOVE the way they sound. But....do I really want to do these addtional mods?

Increased performance and a cooler running bike sound great! But upgrading my PC always sounds great until I do it, then I spend so much time jacking with it instead of working, I end up wishing I hadn't tryed to fix something that was broke.

Am I REALLY going to notice increased performance and a cooler bike, or am I spending $$$ for marginal improvements, only to be jacking with the tuner on an ongoing basis?

Can I set it and forget it or are these things tempramental and always needing tending to?

Just questioning not so much how much bang I am going to get for my buck, as much as whether or not I am going to wish I had left well enough along on a FANTASTIC bike.

Honestly, I own an Ultra and added the PCV from FuelMoto. I couldn't be happier and I haven't spent more than 30 minutes in 2 years doing anything with the PCV. I wouldn't hesitate to install a PCV if your bike was mine. Just make sure you get it from FuelMoto. Their range of maps and customer service is beyond comparison.

Umm really a no-brainer here, you own a CVO, you might as well get rid of the EPA choked down tune your running and get that bike running the way it's meant to

I've been running one on my 09 Road King for 16 months and the only time I've touched it was to install it which was about 30 min.

I'd highly recommend it. I took my bike from stock to PCV, SEAC & Bub 7's and there was significant difference in how bike runs, performs and less heat. On your 2010 I'd get rid of catalyst in head pipe while your at it to further reduce heat improve performance. It's really not necessary to tweak unless you just like too. I've downloaded firmware updates added switch to run two different maps and that's really about it. My leaner map got as high as 48.5mpg on some of the legs of Sturgis trip this year. My richer map normally comes in between 40-42mpg more local riding so not bad IMHO.
