The Street Glide pegs are worth looking into. I will have to see if Momma likes them.
Seems to me that someone out there should make a kit for this....
Could this be an unfilled niche?
So you want kit that moves the passenger floor boards out of the way while the passenger has their feet on them...LOL

Maybe I could convince Momma to place her dainty little feet elsewhere when we come to a stop...... Then the floor boards would be free to fold up if I hit them....

I have the same issue with my 2011 FLHTK. Calves hit when backing it up and the HD centerstand peg to lower it is tight against the rear floorboard mount, its like a chinese puzzle trying to put your heel on the peg to catch the centerstand. I wonder if anyone make an extension for the centerstand?

it was the first thing i changed on my latest road king. went with the peg mounts and i use stock late model sportster pegs. they are larger and have built in cushioning in them. harley also sells them in a little nicer version with the metal parts chromed. they make for a nice ride for both. cleans up the look of the bike as well.

Does anyone know if this kit will raise the boards enough to prevent the driver's legs from hitting them?
Reduced Reach Passenger Footboard Mounting Kit

If so, I may have to order a set.

I had the same issue with the passenger floorboards being in the way when coming to a stop, so I used a different solution. Kuryakyn Adjustable Passenger Peg Mounts #7527 (which allows 360 degrees of adjustability; mine are set at straight down, but I could gain even more room by turning them to the 'back' position.) and Harley-Davidson Rubber & Chrome Mini Passenger Floorboards.

I have the same problem. Going from a heritage to an Ultra. Just have to get adjusted to it.

the kuryakn peg mounts are really nice. you have the different mounting positions that are on the bike, and then the kuryakan peg mounts are 360 degree adustable. use mini-floorboards or a good heavy peg. works great for the rider and the passenger.
