I've never had a problem with the passenger footboards hitting my legs. I always put my feet down outboard of the rider footboards.

If you have short legs,they have to in between the front and rear boards to back up safely.

God was playing games when he made me. I am 6' tall with a 29" inseam... The only way I can put feet on the ground is straight down between the floorboards....
