Y'know ... at first glance when I saw it at the stealership I didn't like it. But as I walked past a few times it kinda grew on me and I have become a fan of the color.
I second the first look UGLY! but after looking at it a few times it got to look kinda kool and old school, just a note, there are those that loved it right off, my dealer got two already and they both sold in very short time.
It doesnt matter whether we like it or not,only if you do. If you are wondering whether it is worth 900 or not in the scheme of a 20,000.00 bike then you dont like it too much. Why let 900 separate you from what you really want.
I demo'ed an Ultra in that color scheme ... you can put me in the camp that thinks it's butt ugly, I wouldn't get it but all of my bikes have been red come to think of it.
I agree with Mack. It's YOUR bike. Set it up like YOU WANT and YOU are GUARANTEED to be HAPPY with it. If someone else doesn't like it, what do you care. Tell 'em to get their own and set it up the way they want.
