6000 kelvin is the color of sunlight before it passes through the atmosphere. Now you know the color of the sun if you stare directly into the bulb for several hours. Hint: do not look into any HID when it is on.

Did you get it installed? If so, how's it working for you?

I want better lighting and don't want to spend $500+ on the HD LED headlight, or $300 on the other ones.

Since you got the 55w version, I would probably connect it straight to the battery and use a relay...

I have the 35w version and it runs fine on the stock headlight wiring without a relay.

I installed the LED kit from HD on my dad's SG (I can use him as a guinea pig haha).

I'm not too impressed with the LED - it's much brighter than stock, but for the money, i expected more. The difference between low and high beam is very slight. There is also a hard line where the light stops at the top.

Hopefully you guys keep doing research because I love HID and I'm just about to pull the trigger...
