If Iam going to spend 400 bucks, it would be better spent I think on the HD kit (for the saddlebag) at least you can control the iPod/iPhone with the hand controls. (let's be real though both of these kits, the hells foundry and the hd kit are way over priced) What did you end up getting to replace your broken iPod?

to replace my broke ipod I just went back to using my ol xm roady. just waiting for the right deal on a used ipod.

I use a Ram mount. I have cradles for my iPod and GPS. The dash console looks nice and expensive. My only concern is it will become obsolete when your iPod dies and Apple has changed the dimensions of the next iPod version, as they typically do.

I like it a lot!!! I've never liked the stock dash panel much, Christmas is coming up....
