I wouldn't go so far as to call them junk. They're definitely overpriced for the technology you get though. QC issues are what seems to plague Harley's. It's pretty much luck of the draw whether someone picks out a new one that inheritently develops one problem after another. Couple that with wannabe rich urban bikers that don't know how to ride them and you get problems. Once someone gets past the initial "things that go wrong" with a new Harley regular maintenance should keep them going for many many miles.

These bikes are quite simply....the best Cruisers you can buy.

Nothing else coems close. Those who have put down some miles on one know this....whether they are honest about it or not is another issue.

I have no interest in any other bike anymore. I like ALL bikes, but my PERSONAL H/D I built to fit me....and it's a keeper.

These forums will drive you nuts if you accept everything you read on them as gospel. Seems when ever someone with a question or problem enters the forum at least half the replies are pure B.S. and not relevant at all. Get on any forum with kids on it and it gets deeper. Try to read between the lines and you will soon realize that the sky is not falling. All the people you see out on the road are not stupid, they know a good thing when they have it.

I had the same "forum paranoia" a few years ago when I spent too much time on the Suzuki forum and began to think all kinds of things were wrong with my ride.
The forums are where you hear about all the bad stuff.
Good stuff too if you look.
