Default docking hardware question

I purchased the quick release 4 point docking hardware and backrest for my street glide. When I got the hardware it said must also buy saddle bag stop kit. I ordered it online but in the meantime want to install the backrest so the gf can ride with me. Can I just run without it untill it comes in or will I damage something like the bags? Thanks.

I didn't have to purchase anything extra on mine. What is the stop kit?

Me neither. Sure you were looking at the right part?

I didn't need any extra hardware when I purchased my dock. Not sure what the saddlebag stop kit is.

Just pay attention when opening your saddle bag lids not to contact the eye lets for your 4 point docking points and you will be alright.

The stop kit is optional. It prevents the lids from hitting the 4 point.

You can run without it, just don't mash the lid on the dock points.

No need for that part.
You'll be fine.
I did the 4 point kit with my Tour Pak mount.
