Great info here guys, just one question. What size socket do I need to remove the compensator bolt? I would like to have it on hand before I take things apart.

The compensators now use a 9/16-1/2 x 3 hex head bolt.

Thank you, I filgured I was going to need different size socket for the bolt. Thanks again 9/16 it is.

I cut a piece of hard wood. cut the ends on my miter saw it worked great.
