blown fuse need help

blown fuse need help
got an 05 RK just got it repainted had to drain the tank wen i toke it off. got the bike put back togather an now it want crank it keeps blowing the fuel pump fuse. just wondering if anybody else had this trouble an can help

Do you have a multi-meter? Check the resistance to chassis on the output side of the fuse holder. There's a good chance you pinched a wire when you had the tank off. If you only have a couple of ohms on the output side of the fuse holder, you should start to unplug connectors. If it's like my 08, the one in the tank would be the first one to unplug.
Chances are it will be between there and the fuse. Should probably pull the tank again and look for damaged wires.

thanks for the reply man. got the blown fuse problem figured out but still caint get it to crank it will turn over an im geting fire to the plugs but its like the pump aint pumpen fuel. I can hear the fuel pump kick on wen i turn the key on so i have no clue wat it could be. guess ill have to load it up an take it to the stealer. just wounder if its got air in the fuel lines from me draining the tank.
