Maybe in fact it was the rain washing it thru tho.
Same here, but mine was 15. Got me worried now.

Great, thanks for the info. I kinda forget about it until I pull it off to clean it and then I get worked up all over again. I'll keep my eye on this.

We ride if rain frequently and I have not heard of this being a problem. My bike has the HD stage one kit. Many of the people we ride with have open filters. This is a good question. I will have to ask around.

I frequently ride in the rain. I've got a sock for my air filter somewhere in my garage, but couldn't say exactly where it is. At any rate, even in some pretty heavy rain never a problem.

I use a rain sock all the time, but have been in heavy rains in the past with no issues.

Been thinking about trying one of the Exotx metal air filters but haven't made the leap yet.

I have an exotx SS air filter and today I was caught in a down pour! Not a light rain for a few min, but a full fledged thunder storm with weather advisory in effect. The bike never missed a lick. Great filter for rain.
