Last night while enjoying an adult beverage or two at Hooters in Las Vegas a storm came out of nowhere, it was so bad, wind, lightening and rain that the entire street was flooded and even the motorcycle cop that was at Hooters brought his cop bike under the Hooters awning. When he told me he wouldn't dare try to rid through that storm I took his advice and got a ride home and picked up my bike this morning as he did.
I have the Arlen Ness Twin Sucker installed on my Street Glide and NOONE makes a sock for this air cleaner, I even called Arlen Ness themselves and they said they don't have one either but not to worry about it as newer air cleaners won't give a problem with rain unless the storm is epic/biblical such as last night. I simply covered the air cleaner with a grocery bag and waited till morning.
Glad to hear so many chime in that water on the air cleaner is not much to worry about so when I'm on the road to Sturgis in a couple weeks I won't have to concern myself with the expected rain I know I will get sometime on the ride up or while at Sturgis.
