Do you mean 16s are closer to you and 14s can move forward more? with the windsheid on that is.
Yes and no. With the shield on, the difference between 14" and 16" would be 2 inches of height. Now of course, you could still have them "away" from the shield more and essentially the hand placement would be lower.
For me, I tilt them back with the shield on during long trips, and when the shield is off, push them forward...adding what feels like 2" of height...ya know...more stretched out arms and a slight tilt of the grip angle.
