Looks good to me, I'm planning to put some taller apes on my softail... I was thinking about going with 16", but I'm worried that'll only put my hands even with my shoulders. I want my hands just a bit higher than my shoulders. Where do your 16"ers put your hands in relation to your shoulders? PS. again, looks good.

with 1-1/2" risers my hands are just above my shoulders. I am 6'4". My friend ,who is 5'10, has his hands even with his head.

Keep in mind he's standin' 'em straight up. If you pulled 'em back so they're inline with the forks, the grips would be little lower. So you may wanna go with 18's depending on how you set 'em up. Most dealers will let you hold different size bars up to your bike before purchasing just to be sure.

also be aware what your local laws are. Some states are 14" from the lowest part of your seat to the top of your bars... some states are shoulder height... some states don't care
