slide hammer could pull the races out of the bearings. Georges is cheaper than the other by around $75~$100.

I went to our local Autozone store and they have tools that they loan out with a deposit. They had a blind bearing puller there that worked on a wheel with 25mm bearings. I made a press with 3/4 threaded rod and some washers and bolts for the install. Worked very well for only a couple of bucks. Might check out your local Auto Parts store.

Do you have the part number on that item? I might have to take a look at that. I ordered a cheap one online and return it. The construction was so bad I couldn't spin the bolt smoothly on the threaded rod. The thing actually stripped before I used it.
