So far things are looking grim for starting this engine when it comes in with a PCV. I see one map for this engine in the SEPST software i have and it is the last one on the chart. Not sure whether i am capable of a Smarttune at this point. Hopefully someone will give me a lead on a dyno map for the PCV that was made for the 120R they are running.
I think you have to find a "good" tuner to tune your bike. Strokerjlk has tuned one and says even the base maps from the SESPT are lean. In regards to your other thread you cannot save your original map with the SESPT.

I saw that post on the SEPST map being lean and can't find a base for the PCV not looking too good.
I tell you what ship that motor to me let me bolt it in and I will run it for a while with my PCV and Auto Tune soon as I get it dialed in I will sent it back with a real nice map promise!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks that would help a lot. Just don't push it to hard right off untill you get a few hours on it.Well anyhow i thought of the Autotune as i have the PCV already thats one option i guess but i still need a base map. 299.00 for Autotune not that big of deal i guess. Got the engine /clutch/ 58m throttle body/hi flow injectors/Heavybreather/acr harness for 5,311.56 so down to some gaskets and should probably pick up a couple tires and belts to have on hand.
Hydro, ditch the PCV. I have interviewed several tuners while I wait for my 120r to arrive, all said the PCV/AT is not the way to go. They would be happy to use my PCV but said with better results with SEST/TTS/Other. If it was FM doing the tune, I believe you could get a good result but again, there are limits to the PCV when doing a motor like this. My advice is talk to a couple of tuners, pick the one you feel most comfortable with and go with his tuning tool of choice. Watching 120 threads on several forums, the way to get this baby to run user friendly/street is going to be up to the experience level of the tuner you pick. I am going with StrokerJiK as he had done a couple of these motors already (but located in IL, no help to you). Great price on the motor, I am pretty close to that, are you doing the SE clutch? Hearing that is a bi*ch to pull. I chose the Rivera Pro. Good luck with your build/tune!!

Look slike I will have to wait a little longer before I get mine. Great deal on the motor.
Are you too far from a competent tuner with a dyno? Seems like it would be less money to get a dyno and SEPST rather than trying to make a PCV work.
I had some decel popping and was able to enrich the 0 column on a couple different setups with the PCV. Just a little afraid that i will not have any control with the SEPST and the Narrow band o2s with Smarttune. Just wanted to run the engine with a PCV map at first because once you reflash the ecu your stock settings are history and can't just plug the PCV again.
