Default Terry Components TV3

Anybody using this fuel management system? I'm looking at the closed loop unit using the factory o2 sensors. Bike is '08 RG.

I had one on my 07 electraglide,,it did make it run better,,, but i had problems with an eradic idle,,, sometimes 700 and the next stop it would be 1100 rpms... I still had some pinging while accelerating hard,,, i ended up taking it off and going with a pc3 with a dyno tune,,, and then more power ,a cooler bike and no pinging or eradic idle... I had k&n hi flow air filter and jackpot dynotuned slip ons with both set ups.. I would go with power commander or equivalent .... Jmho

My brother has a TV3 on his '07 Street Bob (96" / 6 spd). It seems to run well. His Indy recommended it to him when they put the stage 1 kit (V&H short shots & Big Sucker AC). He made one dyno run with it to check the AF mixture and it was spot on.

Since then my brother added a SE204 cam to his bike. His local HD dealer put in the cam. They made one dyno run to check the AF mixture and guess what...it was spot on.

I personally like the Power Commanders just because they have more support available, but I can't argue with my brother's results from the TV3. It seems to work well for him.

Good luck.

Had the TV3 installed a year and half ago. Three weeks bike stopped running an hour from home and went into the fail soft mode. Come to find out it was the TV3 wiring harness. Had harley fix it which cost me money, ran it for three weeks and again an hour from my house on the highway same thing, hobbled it to another Harley shop, they swear by the harley race tuner so I went with that and had it dyno'd. Called Terry Components and Keith said he would not stand by his product. Said I had it for over a year and there was nothing they could do. I threw it away and was very disappointed with the customer service. Bike is running good now. Dont buy the TV3 it is junk and the company does not stand by there product.
