Default Pushrod tubes

Ok so what's the trick to getting the little snap cover back on. I'm using the se tapered pushrod. They come with the new lowers and oring and top covers. I took the stock top pieces and springs and and slid them in. I got 1 of the 4 in. I even have the special tool Harley sells but still couldn't get it. How big of screwdriver are you guys using. On a good note adjusting the pushrods went well and I felt good about that.

Just a large flat blade screwdriver. Start pushing down and walk the clip up the shaft of the screwdriver little by little. It got easier for me after I busted a few knuckles and got 3 of them on...

If two people are around, one holds the tube in its spot from the top with a screwdriver while the other uses a screwdriver to push down and get the clip back in. IF only 1 person is around just brute force.
