I thinks its proved everytime my grandma tells me how obnoxious it is or when my friends wife tells me its annoying. By annoying them it means they heard it and thats all I ask for.

Use it if "it" works for you!

So do modulating headlights, reflective “geek” vests, modulating taillights.... an extra set of eyes, looking ahead and anticipating some dumb *** turning left in front of you, looking behind for that same jerk who is texting instead of driving etc.. etc...etc... I don’t need scientific proof of any of it.

Use whatever means necessary to keep your *** alive

Time to go suit up for “battle”

Wasn't there a police dept. in Ca. that equipped all their motorcycles with after market pipes after a lady hit one with the stock pipes on? I think the lady said something about "not hearing the motorcycle".

People tell me all the time they love the sound of my bike. If I am not going to be seen I WILL be heard. Have been in a few close situations where I pulled in the clutch and a bit of a rev got me out of what could have been a bad time.

I completely agree that the louder pipes definitely keep you more safe. Although in Phoenix right now with all the snowbirds back, I don't even think they can hear yet alone see.....It was also a good justification for my wife to let me get my new set of pipes a few weeks ago!!!!!
