So the throttle on my 09 rkc has been getting stuck for the past few days so i have to manually return it while shifting or when its idling to keept it from high idling. Anybody got any suggestions before i take it to the steeler ship and sits there for weeks????

As it is TBW - personally I wouldn't mess with it

Sounds like a little dirt in the grip. Just pull the right grip off and blow all of the dust and grit out of it that has accumulated during the first uses. Mine did it and it's just normal wear from new pieces rubbing against each other. Once you get it out it should be fine.

Don't forget! If you have to loosen and remove the brake lever to put a folded matchbook cover in the gap at the back of the lever or you'll destroy your brake light switch.

If you decide to take it to the dealer I'd start by finding a dealer that I had more confidence in. I wouldn't trust my bike to anyone I thought so little of.

There is no way I would touch something like this on a bike that only has 200 miles on it. I would expect that dealer to be jumping through hoops for you on this.

TBW has electronic integrated safety features and lots of smarts. I would regard myself as being technically competent but this is just not worth the risk or, more importantly, the hassle

It's simply loosening a few screws and pulling the grip off. It's not rocket science, it's a safety issue, THEN let the dealer know about it and they'll be butt-kissing happy to check it out.
