The only real differences were the type of saddle bags(hard vs. leather) and the RKC has cruise control. All the RK's in 2004 were offered in carb or FI.

Road King Custom, hard bags leather look, lowered shocks, came with beach bars, nacelle different form the classic and standard.

the classics all come with chrome spoked wheels and wide whiewalls from the factory. they are all fuel injected. they have special chrome tips on the fenders instead of lights like the standard road king.

Default tubes

The Classics also have tubes in the tires, despite the fact the tires say "tubeless" on them. The tube keeps the air pressure from leaking out the spokes. With tubes, if you get a flat you've got some work ahead of you - can't just put a plug in and go like you can with a tubeless wheel/tire.

If you really like the wire wheel look but don't want to deal with tubes, you can buy aftermarket tubeless wheels.

fuel injection was standard on the classic as was cruise control.feul injection was optional on the others the custum also had swept back leather look bags and no bag gaurds.
