Default 2011 wheel machine

does anyone think i can take a 2011 stock streetglide wheel to a local machine shop and have them machine where the bearing goes deeper so i can still use a one inch bearing and axel the diameter is the same. all i need is it made deeper any thoughts.

Front or rear, how much deeper and why do you "need" to do it?

You'd probably be better off going to a local bearing house and have them cross reference a bearing that goes from a Metric OD to an Inch ID.
There are past threads that detail what you're doing though!

It means is there a enough mat'l that can be machined and will there be enough mat'l left to maintain strength.


Seems like a costly modification IMO.
