I just converted to Kuryakyn's panacea tail light and rear turn signals on my Ultra and really like the look. I'd like to convert the lights on the tour-pak to LED so the brightness and/or color will match better. I found where Kuryakyn offers LED bulbs that replace standard 1157 bulbs. Are these the ones I'd need? Also, has anyone done this and can you comment on how well they match the panacea? Any advice and comments are welcome. Thanks.
There was another site, but can't be sure if this is correct...I bought their LED strip to mount under my
rear luggage, then hooked it up to the brake wiring also located in luggage area. Try HOGLITES, or HOGLIGHTS, not sure which.
I ordered led replacements for the tour-pak tail/brake lights from superbrightleds.....haven't gotten them yet
but they are cheaper than the local auto parts store. At least Discount Auto Parts carries them...same people....so if
you want to try them out, they were abt $16.00 for a par of LED wide 1157.
Hey FLW, thanks for the reply. Let me know how you like them when you get them on. I'm heading to Fayettville, AR this weekend for a rally. Maybe I'll find something there. Thanks again.
Sorry took so long to get back on this.....the LED's that I ordered were the 19 led cluster.....they look pretty good
and understand that LED's last alot longer. I have the FLHTC.....in which I installed the king tour-pak brake/taillamp kit.
Also I added the wig-wag module to the rear bag lights, the link below will show you what I mean. Thought they
were pretty neat, and a plus for those behind you as far as visability goes.......
I was thinking about puting panacea tail light on my SD but wasn't sure if it would fit since the FLHX was not listed in the JP Cycles catalog that I have. Does anyone no if the make them to fit the SG and Does that led light give you a lot more visability over stock?
